MANDAREE, N.D. (AP) — An official with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration says an oil-related accident at a well site near Mandaree has claimed the life of one man.

Eric Brooks with OSHA in Bismarck tells The Dickinson Press (http://bit.ly/AfZQlo ) that the fatality occurred in Dunn County and is related to oil and gas operations.

Brooks says officials do not yet know details of the death, including whether it happened Saturday or Sunday. The man is believed to be in his early 20s.

Brooks says the last oil-related fatality in North Dakota was on Sept. 14, when there was an explosion at a rig southwest of Williston.
