Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - A major chap stick donation to Sanford Children's Hospital in Fargo.
Anne-Marye Hoban began collecting chap-sticks about two months ago, in honor of her niece who was diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia not once, but twice. Chap stick helps cover up up the smell of harsh antiseptics and disinfectants.
She collected nearly 35 hundred chap-sticks of all different kinds and flavors from family and friends.
ANNE-MARYE HOBAN - Collected Chap-sticks: “You know it is crazy, I would be getting boxes from people I didn't even know, just in the mail with thanks for doing this, hope this helps the kids. It is just amazing to me, church groups, school groups and service organizations just running with this and raising hundreds even thousands of chap sticks.”
Hoban is also donating part of her collection to a children's hospital in the cities.
