Bison win FCS Championship!

FRISCO, Texas – North Dakota State freshman linebacker Travis Beck had a critical fourth-quarter interception, which set up a touchdown, to help lift the Bison to a 17-6 victory against previously unbeaten Sam Houston State for the Division I Football Championship Subdivision title.
NDSU earned its first FCS championship with the victory.
The Bison (14-1) last one a national crown in 1990 at the NCAA Division II level.
Sam Houston State (14-1) missed a chance to become the first unbeaten champion since Marshall in 1996.
