Things are finally back to normal at Holy Spirit Elementary School in Fargo. Students, teachers and staff moved back in yesterday. Last July, the school flooded after two and a half inches of rain poured down in 45 minutes. The sewer drains collapsed from the influx of water flowing from the roof. Water backed up throughout the school. Six classrooms, four bathrooms, the school office and work room among other places were damaged. Repairs cost $750,000.

Principal Jason Kotrba – Holy Spirit Elementary: “It's always good to be home, there's something about being home and having all those comforts of home back like structure and routine.”

Holy Spirit School was built in the 1950's. Its sewer pipes and drains are now up to date.
