DICKINSON, N.D. (AP) — A judge has set bond at $1,500 cash for a man accused in an alleged home invasion incident in Dickinson that involved gunshots.
Twenty-year-old John Pyles is accused of forcing his way through the back door of a mobile home over the weekend. Police tell The Dickinson Press (http://bit.ly/xvdBfy) that a homeowner fired a handgun at Pyles but missed him.
Authorities say two tenants of the home eventually subdued Pyles, and the gun went off again during the struggle. No one was hit.
Police say Pyles told officers he went to the home to retrieve some property. He's charged with felony criminal trespass.
