Timberwolves vs. Mavericks

(WDAY TV) -- The Timberwolves, still searching for that first win. Hosting the defending champion Dallas Mavericks tonight.

It was a 2-point game with 5 minutes to play, that's when Kevin Love hit back-to-back 3's to give Minnesota an 8-point lead.

That was the start of a 15-0 run to close the game, Ricky Rubio with the terrific pass to Love in the lane for the 2-handed flush. Love with 25 points, 17 boards.

Rubio had 7 assists, this one was pretty, going between the legs of finals MVP Dirk Nowitzki to Anthony Tolliver for a huge 3-pointer.

The Wolves snap an 18-game losing streak, that dates back to last season, 99-82 the final.
