A family-friendly event in Grand Forks rings in the New Year
Grand Forks, ND (WDAY TV) -- About 25 people in Grand Forks are expected to ring in the New Year at Celebrate the Night 2012.
Grand Forks, ND (WDAY TV) -- About 25 people in Grand Forks are expected to ring in the New Year at Celebrate the Night 2012.
The family-friendly event at the Alerus Center has everything from face painters to belly dancers. Musical acts include a-capella singers and jazz bands. There's laser tag, a roller derby course even a special lounge for teenagers.
Mark Landa, organizer, says, “We provide a non-alcoholic family event for New Year's Eve, so people can go out and have a good time and not worry about dealing with alcohol or any of those issues.”
