Fargo Bank Robbed in Broad Daylight

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- Few details are being released after a busy Fargo bank is robbed in broad daylight.

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- Few details are being released after a busy Fargo bank is robbed in broad daylight.

The search for the suspect continues. Bank of the West on 32nd Avenue South was hit about ten this morning. You are looking at surveillance photos. The robber walked into the bank and passed a note to the tell, demanding money. He then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. Police blocked off the area and called in the FBI and search dogs, but could not find the suspect.

Sgt. Bill Ahlefeldt with the Fargo Police says, “the suspect is not in the building, the building has been secured and checked, we have the dog here for tracking purposes on the outside of the building.”

The suspect is described as Pacific Islander decent and about five feet ten inches tall. He had on a black shirt and leather jacket, with a diamond in his left ear. The man may be in a gold Chevy Malibu with South Dakota license plates.
