BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — People hoping to learn which Republican candidate Gov. Jack Dalrymple plans to endorse will have to wait a little longer.

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — People hoping to learn which Republican candidate Gov. Jack Dalrymple plans to endorse will have to wait a little longer.

Amanda Godfread, spokeswoman for the governor's election campaign, says the Republican governor hasn't yet made an official endorsement. Godfread tells the Bismarck Tribune (http://bit.ly/vSf37n ) that Dalrymple hasn't discussed a possible endorsement with his campaign staff.

However, Godfread says that she does expect he'll throw his name behind one of the candidates. She says that she's sure an endorsement is "on his mind."

U.S. Rep. Rick Berg hasn't backed anyone, either. U.S. Sen. John Hoeven has announced his endorsement of candidate Mitt Romney.
