(WDAY TV) - Santa brought drivers one extra gift this holiday season: falling gas prices. Just over the last week, prices fell an average of 5-cents in Fargo down to 3-dollars a gallon.
Some gas stations were a little higher, while others were as low as $2.97. Gas prices are down more than 12-cents from the same time last month, but still 10-cents higher than they were at this time last year.
SCOTT HAGEN - Traveling for Holidays: “I'm happy about it, it's good. This is making it a little cheaper of a destination trip than I thought it was going to be.”
Nationally, gas is still over 21-cents higher than it was last year at this time.
