FARGO – Police are looking for a suspect who reportedly held up two employees Tuesday night outside a Fargo Stop-N-Go store that was robbed two months ago.
Sgt. Mike Erbes said the employees were locking up the store when they were approached at about 10:18 p.m. by a masked suspect who displayed a handgun and asked them for money.
The employees spent several minutes trying to convince the suspect that if they went back into the store at 602 23rd St. S., it would set off the alarm, and that they didn’t have any money with them, Lt. Joel Vettel said.
The suspect eventually fled on foot going east, Vettel said. Police set up a perimeter and used a search dog but were unable to locate him.
No one was injured.
The employees described the suspect as a black male, 6 feet 3 inches tall, wearing all black clothing with a mask covering his face and speaking with a foreign accent, Vettel said.
Police have arrested three suspects in connection with an armed robbery at the same Stop-N-Go store on Oct. 26.
