West Fargo Police investigating Monday armed robbery

West Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - The investigation continues into an armed robbery early last night on a busy West Fargo street. No one was injured, but police are asking the community to be alert.

The investigation continues into an armed robbery early last night on a busy West Fargo street. No one was injured, but police are asking the community to be alert.

Last night between 7:30 and 8, 34 year-old Melissa Pellerano of West Fargo and 40 year-old Laquan Williams of Moorhead were headed to Pellerano's vehicle on the 900 block of 2nd Street West when a tan Oldsmobilie Intrigue pulled up. Two men got out and with guns in hand. They stole a purse, cash and two cell phones

The victims described the men as dark skinned, between the ages of 18 and 23. Both were said to be wearing white hats. The first suspect is five feet nine inches and weighs 160 pounds. The second suspect is 5 feet 11 inches and weighs 170 pounds. Police remind the public to be alert.

Mike Reitan – West Fargo Assitant Police Chief: "Certainly be aware of what's going on around them. If there's someone in the area or a vehicle in the area take a look to see what that vehicle is or what the people might be up to."
