Fergus Falls, Minn. (WDAY TV) - New information about a fatal accident last summer in Otter Tail County. Documents filed in Fergus Falls show a car driven by 21-year old Daniel Resch was traveling 114-miles an hour, when it crashed, killing a passenger.
Authorities say Resch was drunk at the time. The July crash claimed the life of Ty Vernon Bell, who had just graduated from New York Mills High School.
Another passenger, a 15-year old girl, was critically injured. Investigators say Resch initially denied driving the car. He said he was worried about his future in the Navy.
