Moorhead, Minn. (WDAY TV) - An area 4-H club is learning the power of giving. Several teenagers from the Sargent County 4-H club prepared and served food at Churches United today.

For many of the 4-H ambassadors, giving to the needy was one of their number one goals this year. It was one of many events for the kids today. They also gave homemade blankets to the elderly this morning before leaving Forman.

HANNAH BRUMMOND - Ambassador, Sargent County 4-H: “Well I think that Christmas is all about getting together with family and friends and I feel sorry for the people that can't get together and have a huge meal, so why not help them.”

The club also rang the salvation army kettle bell for nearly 3-hours at Wal-Mart today.
