ND men sentenced in stolen money order case
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — Authorities say two Fort Totten men have been sentenced to converting a stolen money order for cash.
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — Authorities say two Fort Totten men have been sentenced to converting a stolen money order for cash.
The Grand Forks Herald reports (http://bit.ly/sPOU6Z ) that 38-year-old Michael Greywater and 28-year-old Alonzo Green were sentenced on Tuesday in federal court in Fargo.
Greywater was sentenced to 90 days in prison. He also must pay $430 in restitution and fines. Green was sentenced to 93 days in prison He was ordered to pay $265 in restitution and fines.
Authorities say the money orders were stolen during a burglary at the St. Michael post office in May 2010. Authorities say Greywater and Green did not take part in the burglary.
