Children of locked out ACS workers receive Christmas gifts

Hundreds of kids of locked out American Crystal workers are getting a special Christmas surprise this year. Locked out workers at the Moorhead plant stopped by the Howard Johnson today to pick sacks full of gifts and gift cards for their children. Organizers received enough donations to give 340 kids $50 gift cards and 2 to 3 gifts a piece. The woman who organized everything isn't associated with either side of the debate.
April Richards – Organized Event: “I'm not picking sides on management or the locked out workers, I just thought, there are some kids that aren't going to have a very happy Christmas.”
Kids at all 5 American Crystal plant locations received gifts.
