A Devils Lake exchange student from Norway is getting national attention after surviving a brain aneurysm. A Norwegian newspaper reporter traveled the almost 4,000 miles to Devils Lake to talk to the survivor and his host family today.
Magnus Fenes suffered a brain aneurysm more than one month ago and recently went back to school. The 17 year-old was recently honored in the high school gymnasium. Today, a different kind of honor as a newspaper reporter from Magnus' hometown interviewed his family and friends about his survival. The Reporter says he's happy to be able to have a positive story like this for the holidays.
