FARGO – A West Fargo man will serve 15 years in federal prison on charges of possessing child pornography and sexually exploiting children.

Judge Ralph R. Erickson handed down the sentence for Scott Thomas Boyle, 37, on Monday in Fargo’s U.S. District Court.

A 12-person jury found Boyle guilty in October of secretly videotaping two minor girls in the bathtub and while they were playing naked in a bedroom in Boyle’s home.

Prosecutors say Boyle can be seen, during the more than 100 minutes of video footage, adjusting the hidden camera in order to capture footage of the minor girls.

Boyle was also convicted of possessing photographs of child pornography depicting one of the girls.

Following his prison term, Boyle was also sentenced to a lifetime of supervised release.
