Updated: Man killed after rear ending semi near Rothsay is identified
Authorities have identified the victim in a fatal accident on I-94. It happened a little after two yesterday afternoon. Troopers say 56-year old Carl Mergen from Dodge Center Minnesota, rear ended a semi yesterday afternoon.By: WDAY Staff Reports, WDAY
Authorities have identified the victim in a fatal accident on I-94. It happened a little after two yesterday afternoon.
Troopers say 56-year old Carl Mergen from Dodge Center Minnesota, rear ended a semi yesterday afternoon. It happened near Rothsay.
Minnesota State Patrol the driver was the only one in the Dodge Avenger. The semi-truck driver was not injured.
Troopers say it's not clear how the crash happened or if speed was a factor when Mergen's Avenger slammed into the semi.
