Bison seniors have face adversity on the way to championship appearance

When the seniors of this year's Bison team first entered the program they were expecting the wins to pile up following a pair of 10-1 seasons. Instead they went 6-5 as freshmen and 3-8 as sophomores. That's what made Saturday's semifinal win over Georgia Southern so rewarding.
Now that same group that saw some dark days will be in the college football spotlight when the play for the program's first ever FCS Division One title.
