Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- A candidate for North Dakota governor says he will hold the line on college tuition to make it affordable to everyone.

Democrat, Ryan Taylor, knows the importance of education. The NDSU graduate has three children. Taylor wants to ensure they have a good future and have the same opportunities he had growing up in North Dakota.

Taylor says, “we would try to hold college tuition to zero because I think every family wants to have a child be able to go to trade school or college and be abel to afford it, and I think that's strating to slip away from us when UND students in one of the reports had one of the highest student loan debts in the country.”
