Police are on a massive manhunt for two suspects wanted in connection to a random shooting on the streets of Fargo. The victim was walking near one of the city's busiest streets, when the suspects jumped him, demanding money.

Authorities are canvassing the scene and checking surveillance video from nearby businesses, all to look for those wanted men who fled on foot east.

That shooting happened in front of the Kingsford Apartment in the 1500 block of 27th Avenue South around 7:25 tonight. The 30 year old victim tells police he didn't give his attackers any money. A struggle ensued, and then he was shot in the arm. Officers quickly arrived and cordoned off the block after a witness reported hearing gunshots.

Dave Johnson – Witness: “’He said, “Help me, help me. I've been shot’ and the people, the lady upstairs heard the gunshot and saw him rolling around.”

Lt. Joel Vettel – Fargo Police Department: “He apparently got to Essentia by other means than an ambulance or police officer because we were notified by somebody at Essentia there at the time. Again it was several minutes after the incident.”

Police have interviewed the victim and witnesses. They aren't sure if the suspects and victim know each other. The suspects are two black men, one wearing a puffy jacket and the other wearing a do-rag. The victim's name and condition haven't been released.
