Fargo, ND (WDAY Sports) - Bison fans can start making plans for another Saturday party at the Fargodome, but they may have to wake up a little earlier for tailgating.

NDSU'S FCS semifinal game against Georgia Southern is a 1:30 kickoff, the last two Saturday's were 3 o'clock starts.

It's also being dubbed Green and Gold pride day, the university is asking fans to wear one of the two colors depending on their seat location.

The game will also be televised nationwide on ESPN U, a channel offered by most cable companies and dish providers in the area. NDSU has played Georgia Southern just once. It was a 34-14 Bison victory in Statesboro back in 2006.

It was supposed to be a home and home deal, with the 6-time national champs making the trip to Fargo this season

for a game scheduled in September, but the Eagles decided to buy out of the game and replace it with an additional home game.

A decision that still sticks with NDSU Athletic Director Gene Taylor.

GENE TAYLOR - NDSU Athletic Director: “My initial reaction was frustration because we had gone out there. But they honored their contract. They paid us the check. There's no animosity. I don't know their athletic director that well. I know he's been there a long time. It was a financial decision for them and it probably made more sense to buy-out and get a home game than coming up and spending a $100,000 plus. At the end of the day, I guess it worked out better for both of us because here we are one game away from playing for the National Championship.”

Georgia Southern had to pay NDSU 60-thousand dollars for the buy-out.
