A Devils Lake teen goes back to school after beating the odds and surviving an aneurysm. Magnus Fenes is an exchange student from above the Arctic Circle in Norway and suffered an aneurysm last month. He was just released from Sanford this week. Today was his first day back at Devils Lake High School with a welcome that was unexpected. The whole school got involved with a special assembly to celebrate the survivor's return.
Magnus Fenes – Survived Aneurysm: “They supported me a lot, they came down like so many times to Fargo and my family came so they were very supportive. My mom stayed with me for 25 days and my dad had to go home.”
Magnus will go back for a full day of classes on Monday.
