A welding unit is believed to be the cause of a fire at an NDSU repair shop building. The unit is at 1790 10th Street North. Employees showed firefighters where the fire was, and a water hose quickly put out the fire. There were no injuries, and the fire was contained to this shop, which is used as a repair shop for apartments on campus. Damage is estimated at $15,000-20,000.
