A 53 foot semi is loaded tonight with life changing equipment for people in need around the world. A "Wheels for the World" collection drive was held in July. Today more than 260 wheel chairs, plus crutches, canes and walkers, are being loaded into this Wal-Mart giant truck. It's going to a correctional facility in Kansas to be restored. Then, they’ll go with teams to needy people around the world.

Judy Siegle – Wheels for the World: “Wheel chairs for people in developing countries means they can get out of bedm, out of the house, or hut, and into the marketplace and into community life. It really does open a whole new world for them.”

Wheels for the World was founded in 1994. More than 111,000 wheel chairs and other mobility equipment have been collected.
