A Jamestown teacher accused of sexually assaulting a teenage girl has resigned. The Jamestown Public School Board received a letter of resignation Friday from 54 year-old Richard Laqua. Laqua is a construction technology teacher at James Valley Career and Technology Center. He's accused of inappropriately touching the girl, and sending her sexually explicit text messages. The district had previously suspended him without pay.
