BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Two former country schoolhouses in North Dakota have been listed in the National Register of Historic Places.

The Register is the federal government's list of properties it deems worthy of recognition and preservation.

The State Historical Society says the new listings are the Green Consolidated School in Barnes County and the Florence Lake School in Burleigh County. Both date back to the early 1900s.
