You won't hear show tunes or Disney Classics. Instead there's the steady beat of Green Day, and the soulful sound of Adele.
Viktoria Bosch – Singer: "It expresses who I really am."
Welcome to Elevate Rock School-where kids learn the drums, base, guitar, keyboard, and how to sing.
Bryce Niemiller – Elevate Rock School Owner: "We teach kids to read music here, we teach fundamentals, we teach everything you would assume to learn in a traditional lesson, but we just correlate it to popular music that kids like."
Andrew Pieper – Drummer: "Skillet, Hero, Switchfoot, Afterlife."
Viktoria: "Taylor Swift, Adele and Cristina Perry."
10 year-old Victoria began taking classes two years ago.
Viktoria: "I'm trying to get better at my singing because me and my mom someday we're going to go to America's Got Talent and I'm gonna sing for the judges."
And she's already part of a band.
In every classroom there's a recording system that allows students to hear exactly what they just played.
Bryce Niemiller: "I'm just really excited because I can really relate how excited I would've been as a kid to have a teacher helping me with the stuff I was interested in."

Elevate Rock School is open to people of all ages. It's open Monday thru Thursday and Saturday.
