Fargo surgeon has bail reduced in sexual assault case

A judge has reduced bail for a Fargo surgeon accused of drugging and raping a woman in his home from $50,000 to $5,000. 41 year-old Dr. Jon Norberg is accused of injecting the victim with propofol in mid-June, leaving her unconscious. Norberg's attorney argued for the lower bail because of financial need with the cost for his defense and a divorce. Norberg is on voluntary leave from Sanford Health. He has pleaded not guilty and will be back in court in January.
