The Jamestown School Board is moving forward with procedures to fire a high school teacher, charged with sexually assaulting a student. 54 year-old Richard Laqua was charged November 8th with touching a 17 year-old's buttocks and sending her sexually explicit text messages. The district's attorney has had conversations with Laqua's attorney. They'll now get ahold of an administrative law judge to talk about the discharge. Laqua has taught at the James Valley Career and Technology Center for 23 years. He remains suspended with pay.
