Two police officers in two marked cars suddenly showed up during a prayer vigil in Moorhead for locked out American Crystal Sugar employees. They received a complaint about people standing in the busy street. Some of the dozens of workers, family, and supporters couldn't fit on the boulevard. No one was injured. There were no crashes.

Four pastors and employees prayed, sang songs, and spoke about the four month long lockout near the company's headquarters.

Gayln Olson – Locked Out Union Worker: “We are still struggling to keep our lives together but as long as our union brothers and sisters stick together, we will be just fine. Let us pray to get back to work soon with a fair contract.”

Union members hope that candlelight vigil convinces management to go back to the bargaining table.
