A national project is hoping to get more NDSCS and Alexandria Technical students employed right after they graduate. Representatives from the two colleges listened to business and industry leaders about what standards are expected of students with an associate degree. The information will be relayed back to faculty to make changes to their curriculum. NDSCS leaders say it's a win-win for both students and employers.

Gloria Dohman, PH. D/NDSCS Associate VP: "The North Dakota State College of Science and Alexandria Technical & Community College I think are very privileged to be a part of this national project, which brings attention to career and technical education and the associate of science degree at the applied level."

A total of 23 institutions are a part of the project. NDSCS is the only North Dakota school.
