Officials investigate burglaries in small ND towns

MEDINA, N.D. (AP) — Stutsman County authorities are investigating a rash of burglaries in the small central North Dakota towns of Medina and Woodworth.

MEDINA, N.D. (AP) — Stutsman County authorities are investigating a rash of burglaries in the small central North Dakota towns of Medina and Woodworth.

Authorities say burglars attempted to break into about half a dozen businesses sometime Sunday night or early Monday morning. KOVC reports that the burglars stole cash from some of the businesses.

Anyone with information should call the Stutsman County Sheriff's office at 252-9000.

Medina has a population of about 300 people and is located about 30 miles west of Jamestown. Woodworth is about 18 miles north of Medina and has a population of about 50 people.
