HASTINGS, Minn. (AP) — The mother of a St. Paul teenager who was intentionally set on fire has admitted helping steal $2,500 in donations meant for her son's recovery.

Forty-year-old Jodi Ann Stewart pleaded guilty Monday in Dakota County to felony theft by swindle. She got credit for jail time and will serve her remaining six days in the Sentence to Service program.

The St. Paul Pioneer Press (http://bit.ly/rRcX7P ) reports Stewart cried as she admitted taking donations intended for her 19-year-old son, Antoine Willis.

Stewart's ex-boyfriend, Curtis Reed, is accused of setting Willis on fire while he slept last July because the teen had tried to break up a fight between his mother and Reed.

Stewart's brother, Jeffrey Allen Stewart, also is accused of stealing the donations. He is scheduled in court next Monday.
