HOOPLE, N.D. (AP) — Officials have upgraded the condition of a man who was shot last week in a North Dakota potato warehouse.
A spokeswoman at a Grand Forks hospital says 43-year-old Thomas Denault, of Park River, is listed in satisfactory condition.
Police say Denault and 18-year-old Sierra Hobbs, of Crystal, were shot while they were in Denault's van at a Northern Valley Growers potato warehouse near Hoople.
Hobbs was treated and released from a Grand Forks hospital.
Authorities have charged 29-year-old Jason Mize, of Hoople, with attempted murder and attempted manslaughter.
Prosecutors tell the Grand Forks Herald (http://bit.ly/vUTtUG) that Denault was living in his van and would pull it into the warehouse on cold nights.
