Robert Carlson is stepping down from the Farmers Union president post after 15 years. He had also been Vice-President for ten years. Woody Barth of Solen now leads the organization.
Barth says, " I started serving on my local Morton County Farmers Union board when I was 19 years old and it's just a great organization to be a part of."
One of Barth's top priorities is working on a farm bill with a strong safety net.
