The Knudson sisters are walking off the Thanksgiving calories.
Tanya Knudson-Gillen – Shopper: "We started in Moorhead at Herberger's and headed to the big stores over there"
Now they're at West Acres, hunting for Christmas gifts, and keeping track of what they've already spent.
Tammy Knudson – Shopper: "Probably closer to $500 so far."
Tanya Knudson spent $300,but she's not worried about the bill.
Tanya Knudson: "I don’t have any credit cards, so I just pay cash with everything and then I stay within my budget."
Not everyone is paying with paper; those with empty wallets are buying now and paying later.
Susan Fust – Shopper: "Well I like to use a credit card, but I like to pay it off every month."
And as far as a budget?
Susan Fust: "I’m not too worried."

Alison Fust – Shopper: "Just try to keep it under, try to save money for a house. Keep it as low as I can."
