Court documents indicate Alan Henning embezzled nearly $1.2 million between 2005 and 2010 from his employer, West McLean County Mutual Insurance Co. The Minot Daily News reports (http://bit.ly/tcAabh ) that Henning faces up to 30 years in prison and a $1 million fine when he is sentenced Jan. 12.
A theft of property charge against Henning in state court has been dismissed. State Insurance Commissioner Adam Hamm announced this week that he has revoked Henning's license.
