American Crystal Sugar is hiring. The company is looking to employ hundreds of new people to replace locked out union workers. So what do those workers think about it?

Brian Ingulsrud – American Crystal Sugar: "Eventually we'd like to get to 1300 employees."
It's been three and a half months since the lockout began and there's no end in sight.
Brian Ingulsrud: "If this does last longer than anyone would like, we want to be able to have local replacement employees."
Greg Wahl – Union Worker: "They're giving $15 an hour. McDonald's is giving that I think."
Greg Wahl worked 35 years at Crystal Sugar. He says the past two contract proposals offer no clear job security for long-time workers.
Greg Wahld: "To me this is a betrayal as far as I'm concerned."
Juel Dunham – Union Worker: "We're on the street we've been there for 35, 37 years."

But he's not ready to give in.
Rachel: How long will you be out here?
Juel Dunham: “Till the end. They're not at an impasse they still have to negotiate."
Both Crystal Sugar and Union workers want to come to an agreement. But it's unclear when or if that'll happen. Brian Ingulsrud says the latest contract does offer job security for employees, and that the company is willing to go back to the negotiating table as long as union leaders are willing to address their concerns.
