ND man dies in head-on crash with dump truck
NEW TOWN, N.D. (AP) — A crash in western North Dakota's oil patch has killed a Williston man.

The Highway Patrol says the 63-year-old victim was driving a pickup truck that struck an unoccupied semitrailer parked on the shoulder of state Highway 1804 near New Town and partially obstructing the travel lane. The patrol says the pickup then veered into the oncoming lane of traffic and collided head-on with a dump truck.
The pickup driver died at the scene shortly before 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. The patrol did not immediately identify him.
The occupants of the dump truck were not hurt.
