Local Fighter suffers first loss at a UFC Event

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- Last Sunday we introduced to Pablo Garza, a UFC fighter from Grafton who trains in Fargo.

Tonight, he put his 2-0 UFC record to the test against Dustin Poirier at the first UFC on Fox event in Anaheim.

Poirier landed a few good blows in the first round, but Garza drives him down here, but couldn't hold the leg lock.

It ends in the 2nd round, Poirier with a smash to the head of Garza, he eventually gets him into a head-lock and squeezes the North Dakota fighter into submission.

It's Garza's first loss at a UFC event.
