Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- Holiday Homes in Fargo are filling with hope to help fight Cystic Fibrosis.
The 2nd annual Holiday Homes of Hope Tour is already looking to be a success. Four homes are decked in holiday decorations. Visitors pay 15 dollars to tour the houses, take part in a silent auction, and bake sale. Tours raised nearly ten thousand dollars last year. Organizers hope to double that this year. Proceeds go to Cystic Fibrosis Association of North Dakota.
Lisa Blacklund, tour committee member, says, “We don't fund research because we don't have that kind of a budget, but we help our families live, you know we help families get through their daily lives of dealing with a child with cystic fibrosis, which can be overwhelming in many ways.”
Next year's tour is on Historic 8th street.
