MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The 2012 Farm Bill and farm policy lead the agenda for next weekend's Minnesota Farmers Union convention.
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The 2012 Farm Bill and farm policy lead the agenda for next weekend's Minnesota Farmers Union convention.
The farm group is meeting Nov. 19-20 at the Ramada Plaza in Minneapolis. Delegates will be elected to the National Farmers Union convention in Omaha, Neb., in March.
The Minnesota Farmers Union says Gov. Mark Dayton will be greeting convention-goers next Saturday. Other listed speakers include Sen. Amy Klobuchar, Minnesota Agriculture Commissioner Dave Frederickson and National Farmers Union President Roger Johnson.
Minnesota Farmers Union President Doug Peterson says they'll serve Minnesota-grown food at most meals during the convention.
