Fergus Falls man injured by homemade fire cracker

A 57 year-old Fergus Falls man was seriously injured when a homemade firecracker exploded in his hand. It happened Saturday at the Fergus Falls Rifle and Pistol Club. Authorities say the man lit the fire cracker's fuse, but it burned too fast for him to throw it. His hand has significant damage. He was taken to Lake Region then transported to Fargo. The man's name hasn't been released.
