Autopsy photos shown at double murder trial

Moorhead, Minn. (WDAY TV) - Gruesome autopsy photos were the focus of the Tracy Zornes double murder trial in Clay County, despite the objections of defense attorneys.

Moorhead, Minn. (WDAY TV) - Gruesome autopsy photos were the focus of the Tracy Zornes double murder trial in Clay County, despite the objections of defense attorneys.

Prosecutors wanted to show the extent of John Cadotte and Megan Londo's injuries. Zornes remained stoic as the photos were shown.

The medical examiner testified that Cadotte suffered at least 21 blows to the head from a blunt object, possibly a claw hammer and multiple stab wounds.

He says Londo sustained similar injuries, including multiple blows to the head and a stab wound to her chest. Both were dead before the fire and severely burned.

Prosecutors say Zornes killed Londo and Cadotte and set fire to their lower-level apartment where their bodies were discovered on Feb. 19, 2010.
