Lakota, ND (WDAY TV) -- Dramatic developments into a strange, three month long standoff with five members of the Brossart family in Lakota.

All five are in custody. A tip had lead four deputies and highway patrol to the scene.

After some negotiating, authorities arrested Rodney and Jacob Brossart without incident as the two finished harvesting a field. Abby, Alex, and Thomas surrendered four hours later. The five had arrests warrants out for not appearing in court.

In June, the family was involved in a 16 hour armed standoff over six cattle that wandered onto their property. They refused to give the cattle back. Four of them are charged with terrorizing.

Sheriff Kelly Janke of Nelson County says, “We put a tactical operational plan together this afternoon and we implemented it and everything went as planned for us so we're very pleased that we did end with a peaceful resolution this evening"

A juvenile was taken into custody. The family will be in court tomorrow morning.
