Investigators discuss motive in Zornes case

Moorhead, MN (WDAY TV) - For the first time in the Tracy Zornes double-murder trial motive has been mentioned.

    Tracy Zornes has been found guilty of two counts of first-degree, premeditated murder in the deaths of 25 year-old Megan Londo and 20 year-old John Cadotte.

For the first time in the Tracy Zornes double-murder trial motive has been mentioned. Investigators say when they captured Zornes he said, "This wasn't anything sexual." Detectives were considering sexual assault as a motive in the killings of John Cadotte and Megan Londo. Two neighbors in the apartment building that eventually burned said they heard sex noises coming from the lower level apartment the night they were allegedly killed.
