Men's basketball viewing party raises money for Minot flood victims

Grand Forks, ND (WDAY TV) - Young professionals and UND Athletes are teaming to help Minot flood victims. A viewing party was during a televised UND versus Minot State men's basketball game.
Jake's Bar and Restaurant donated food and set up a ten dollar all you can eat buffet. UND Athletics sold t-shirts and held a silent auction. Most proceeds will go to the Red Cross.
PETER STORDAHL - Attended Viewing Party: “We were going to catch the end of the game and then they told us that they are doing a buffet for the benefit and we said sure we will do that."
ANDY FOSS - UND Athletics: “We thought we would get a game watch party going and hopefully sell some t-shirts and help the flood relief for Minot.”
A total of six hundred dollars was raised.
