Beet truck crash victim dies after an 11 day struggle

(WDAY TV) -- After an 11 day struggle to survive, a Hillsboro man has died after a beet-truck crash in Norman County.

76 year-old Donald Thorson passed away from injuries sustained in a crash on the 18th. It happened on Highway 200, west of Halstad. Thorson was in a car that hit a beet topper.
